In 1993 Center-invest Bank produced Russia’s first corporate governance handbook. In 2002, together with IFC, the bank developed a comprehensive set of policies and internal regulations to ensure the transparency and effectiveness of its operations and to protect the interests of its shareholders, employees and customers.
In addition to our Code of Corporate Conduct and Corporate Ethics Code, we have policies for specific areas of our business. These include:
- Information Security Policy
- Internal Control and Compliance Policy
- Environmental and Social Policy
- Liquidity Management Policy
- IT Policy
Our sustainable corporate governance system enabled us to overcome the acute phase of the crisis in 2008-2009. It now provides the basis for our sustainable development in the post-crisis era.
The governance of Center-invest Bank complies with Russian civil law and the recommendations of international organisations, in particular, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.
